UV® Colour UVSS - UV® Color Under-vehicle Surveillance System
UV® Colour provides a coloured, high resolution, real-time image of a vehicle’s undercarriage in seconds, enabling security officers to scrutinise for under-vehicle explosive devices, contraband or other suspicious items.
UV® Colour consists of an Observation Unit and a computerised Receiving Station. High resolution coloured undercarriage images are captured by the Observation Unit which will then transmit them to the Receiving Station where the images will be integrated into a complete undercarriage picture for display on the user interface screen.
System Installation
UV® Colour can be permanently flashed in an Observation Pit that is concealed in the ground or surface-mounted depending on the need to conceal the system.

UV® Colour can be incorporated with Vehicle Licence Plate Recognition to recognise and collect a database of the vehicle licence plate number, date and time of images captured. The driver’s facial image as well as colour and model of the vehicle can also be captured. Data collected will be automatically stored. |

With this incorporation, users can easily search for vehicles’ access records or print a copy of the undercarriage image.
When the vehicle re-enters the checkpoint, UV® Colour will retrieve the previously captured image to check if any modification has been made. |
