UV®2 UVSS - UV®2 Under-vehicle Surveillance System

UV®2 captures high resolution, real-time images of vehicle undercarriages in seconds, enabling security officers to scrutinise for explosives, contrabands or suspicious items attached to the undercarriage.

UV®2 consists of a Ramp Observation Unit (ROU) and a Receiving Station (RS). High resolution undercarriage images captured by the ROU will be transmitted to the RS where they will be integrated into a complete undercarriage picture for display on the user interface screen. From the UV interface, users can compare historical and recent undercarriage images for any discrepancy.

System Installation

UV®2 can be permanently flashed in an Observation Pit that is concealed in the ground or surface-mounted depending on the need to conceal the system.

1.0 Vehicle Structure Comparison
The software automatically compares and matches current vehicle structure with the historical image captured. The feature triggers an alarm once a structural mismatch is found. This is exceptionally useful for detection of illegal vehicle swapping.

2.0 Integrated Network System
UV®2 can also be linked to a centralised network system where the server acts as the storage facility for captured images.

3.0 Integration with Security Equipment
UV®2 can also be integrated with the following security equipment to provide a comprehensive and secure access control solution.

Road Blocker/Rising Bollards
Gate Barriers
In-vehicle Unit System
Access Card Control
